Extremely disappointed with my experience here. I came in specifically to have my trailer ABS light diagnosed. Not only were they unable to figure out what the problem was, but the service felt unprofessional. I had to take my trailer elsewhere to get the correct diagnosis .I will not be returning, and recommend others to avoid this place . Bunch of liers , lazy working here , cmon guys ya can go better . It’s not about making money , it’s about do right thing and make customer happy .

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) I had a very disappointing experience with Open Bay Truck Repair in Joplin, MO. On the morning of July 3, our driver noticed a loud rattling noise coming from the driver’s side of the engine compartment. We contacted Open Bay Truck Repair, and their roadside technician came out to inspect the truck. We were told it was likely the air compressor and that the truck needed to be towed to their shop. After the truck arrived, they diagnosed it as a failed air compressor. I was given two options: approximately $2,500 if I could wait until Tuesday, or about $4,500 if I wanted the truck repaired the same day. Because of the July 4th holiday and our driver needing to get home to Indianapolis, I approved the same-day repair. Later that afternoon, I received a call saying there were parts and labor delays, and the truck would not be ready until the following day. I understood and agreed to wait. The next day, the air compressor was replaced, but the original rattling noise was still there. From the video they sent me, the noise appeared unchanged. They got my truck into a bay much faster than expected (about 30–45 minutes), diagnosed the issue quickly, and explained exactly how they came to the conclusion that my fifth wheel top plate and bushings were the problem — not the driveline like I originally suspected. They ordered the part, got it in, and had the top plate replaced in less than two hours once it arrived. What really stood out to me was that they didn’t drag things out, add unnecessary labor, or treat me like just another truck in line. They charge for the repair, not to pad hours on your bill.
